Position Description:

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and compliance while fostering a positive work environment and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals.
• Provide leadership and direction to all departments within the company.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the trucking fleet, including dispatch, scheduling, and routing.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare and manage the company budget.
• Monitor financial performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Negotiate contracts with customers and vendors.
• Recruit, train, and manage staff.
• Establish personnel policies and procedures.
• Address employee concerns and ensure a productive work environment.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Address customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of the trucking fleet.
• Ensure that all vehicles meet regulatory and safety standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to operations, safety, and compliance.
• Implement policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify growth opportunities and new markets.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand the company’s market presence.
• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure service excellence.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
• Implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits.
• Monitor changes in regulations and adjust company policies and procedures accordingly.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Analyze data to make informed decisions and improvements.

Position Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Management, Finance, Economics, or related
• 2 years of experience in the job offered
• Experience must be in transportation or logistics industry
• Must speak Ukrainian
