Gamma Property Holdings in Austin, TX has an opening for a position of Construction Manager.
Position Description:
The Construction Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing resources for high-profile commercial construction and remodeling projects.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones are met.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Develop budgets and track expenses to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
- Lead and manage construction teams, ensuring clear communication and team cohesion.
- Hire and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Manage electricians, plumbers, carpenters, roofers, tile setters, drywall finishers, etc.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing support and training.
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Ensure all site activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and manage quality control, ensuring that construction standards and company policies are maintained.
- Monitor project expenses and work to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Approve expenditures and submit reports to senior management.
- Review and approve contracts and change orders, ensuring they meet budget and scope expectations.
- Identify potential risks and issues before they arise and develop mitigation strategies.
- Address and resolve any project-related conflicts or delays, ensuring minimal disruption to the overall timeline.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory construction requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Attend client meetings and presentations, offering insight into project developments.
- Work closely with senior management to ensure client satisfaction and project alignment with company goals.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Prepare and submit regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Communicate with Ukrainian and Russian-speaking personnel in their native languages.
Position Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- 2 years of experience in the job offered.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Must be fluent in Ukrainian and Russian.
- Travel within the United States. Short trips to project sites. Frequency of travel depends on the number of projects outside of Texas.
This is a full-time position.
