Learjet 31 Captain

Skyward Aviation in Washington, PA has two openings for a position of Learjet 31 Captain.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

• Operate and control aircraft along planned routes and during takeoffs and landings
• Ensure all information on the route, weather, passengers, and aircraft is received
• Engage in all aspects of aeronautical decision making
• Comply with the GOM and FARs
• Use pertinent information to create flight plans
• Keep aircraft logbook up to date
• Make regular checks on aircraft’s technical performance, pre-flight safety checks on navigation and operating systems
• Direct all aspects of flight planning, documenting aircraft and operational compliance to company and government standards and regulations
• Manage emergencies and coordinate with emergency support agencies
• Liaise with and directing team interactions involving mechanics, ground crew, ATC and airport operations
• Manage a large team including flight deck crew, cabin and ground crew coordination
• Maintain proficiency throughout consistent training programmes
• Multi-task, including analysing information, prioritising problems, and achieving objectives during an ever changing, fast paced working environment

Position Requirements:

• 10 years of experience as an airline pilot
• FAA Issued Airline Transport Pilot with Multi Engine Endorsement License with no restrictions
• FAA Issued 1^st Class Medical
• 3000 hours as a pilot
• 500 hours as Pilot in Command
• Experience with the US Air Space system
• Comprehensive aeronautical decision making and ability to keep calm under high pressure situations as evidenced by prior experience
• Excellent customer service and professional written and verbal communication skills as evidenced by prior experience

Travel: Exact geographic location and frequency of travel will depend on flight schedules. Flights are within Contiguous United States.
